Notes

So much effort in this run. Cold, very wet and strong winds at times. Not many people around today. Not safe even driving around. Feb has started not on a good note.

Certain parts of my run were manageable whilst others I was almost running on the spot and sideways going with the wind. If felt fresh out there all along. Despite the harsh weather and the pain on my toe, it was good to run. It is madness saying this when things are tough but it is something about running that the more obstacles and pain the better it becomes. It is the mental 'game' and the emotional desire to win, to run, to become. It is a nice 'madness'.

The toe joint gave me a hard time today more than any other. I do know that it is getting worse but still does not bother me all the time. It come and goes and for as long as allows me to do so I am determined not to have the operation for as long as I can run. Hopefully, I will have some more running months ahead and take it from there. However, when the pain comes it is excruciating indeed. Arthritic pain you hear people talking about it but when it happens close to home it is pain one of it's kind. Pain that you cannot ignore. The funny thing is that it likes mobility but the bone growth continues and it is not to get any better no matter how positive I remain. I am praying to God that miracles can happen. I only want to run all else I will deal with for as long as I can run. Running is Life and Living means, Keep on Running and becoming.
