Notes

This was a desperate run. The weather was so beautiful that there was no way I was going to miss a run today. However, because I have started a cleansing diet I felt my energies very low. Also I had my CS friend all the time and at about 3 point mile I had enough and decided to do Strides so to achieve something. Sometimes one needs to break the pattern. And it is either break it of it will break you. I knew the pressure was not on the shin bone so I had some room for negotiation. Although my average mile pace to start with was at high 10's or even 11 I managed an average just below 10 min mile pace. Because I did 16 X 40 sec strides. It was almost easier than jogging and been miserable inside.

It kept me going and I finished strong. Strides is a good way to distract myself. I do love strides. So, it was an unpredictable run in many ways. Improvisation of Mindful movement in the moment!!!! This reminds me of the Coach. Running is still my medicine.
