Coach said "just enjoy and have fun in your runs Eleni" and Frankie said "You will have a great run tomorrow Eleni". So, I did by running 13.1 beautiful miles in a Dry/Warm Day with a Fresh/Breezy wind just strong enough so to hear its sound through the leaves of the Trees. And then after the first 2 miles I did started feeling like the Lady in the Wind. What a beautiful experience. And then again I remembered Coache's favourite quote "To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift" by Prefontaine. Today I know that I can do the MARATHON OF THE MARATHONS. And then I could hear Suzan's voice too saying "Eleni you run well considering that you are injured". All these voices + my desire to run and do The Marathon allowed me to experience this amazing run today. There is no doubt that Tim and Blair have helped my confidence so much and it is one of these times that one has to trust that given the necessary advice and help by the right professionals miracles can happen. My legs felt tight to start with more or less the same as any other time but maybe slightly better. For whatever reason after the 3rd mile I was running in an autopilot action very relaxed, with easy breathing and maintaining same speed on the flat, up or down hill. It took me approximately 2 hours to do this run but I felt I could go further. Still I cannot believe this has happened today and I am so greatful that this is a reality. It is a lot to be said about faith in self and other matters which throughout my run became part of me.
