A beautiful Monday Swim. I did my usual Front Crawl and Back Stroke with some drills in the water to strengthen the core of the body and also legs. All these drills that I learnt while a Club Swimmer for 7 yrs are now coming handy as the body needs to become stronger especially my back and core of the body. Back stroke is ideal for stretching the back and extend all those muscles without running the risk of injury. My daily morning stretching has helped me immensely to maintain flexibility. At least even when I could not do anything else I was able to always do some stretching.

I felt good despite the fact that I was up at 4 am this morning. Sleep is not good nowadays as mind is fighting all torments. I tend to wake up too early for my own shake. Maybe time of life? Who knows? So, the swim actually helped me to relax in the long run.

It is so nice been able to swim again and that the arms are much better without much pain and tightness because of the prolonged use of crutches. It is such a lovely feeling relaxing in the water. Hopefully I will manage to stick with it and build up again.
