BRUNO

Notes

This was a very interesting run. I was fine to start with but not sure how body was going to feel. However, I was desperate to run today and go further afield no matter what the body would determine. I started very sensibly and it felt relatively o.k. Then at 2nd mile point although I was running down hill my right leg (lower part / tendon) started playing tricks again. I was in two minds whether to return home or not but my heart wanted to run. So, I thought I shall take it easy and make it round one way or another. Then at 5th mile point as I was running up the 2 mile steep long hill I started flying and doing a faster pace than on the flat with less effort. By that time I was immensed in my own deep world of running and visions and images away from everything and anything. I was running aggressively but enjoying every minute. Then I had a choice either to head home and finish the Bruno course (of 7.7 miles) or extend the loop. I felt hopeful that I would manage a couple of extra miles and there I went for it. I finished beautifully although I worked very hard in terms of effort. Last night I had little sleep and with my detox diet felt very ...very tired but light. And that is what matters to me feeling light. It was one of these days that one has to push to run things do not happen by themselves. This is what running is all about. And of course I run with CS at times and fatigue and right leg bother for 3 approx. 3 miles but then eased down a bit. All good and hopeful at the same time. Trial and Error. I feel very contended with my today's run and no harm is done.
