Notes

A long and fast pace run for me today. I was tired from all my travels. I pushed to get out there and get it out of my system. I needed to run!!

Frankie said, 'I will run with you'. I will do 12 miles. I said 'I do not want to go out there as I do not feel right' but I will go and see what I can do, even if it is a mile it will be good enough.

Franc lost me on the way as he became engrossed with his running path assuming that I would take the way he went. I could see him in the distance going the opposite way but had no energies to catch him. I kept going in the country side and I felt alive although slightly apprehensive been by myself and feeling the way I did.

I did 12 miles and when returned home Franc had started worrying of what happened to me. He felt tired and did 5 instead and he had no idea what had happened.

So, every day, turns to be unpredictable in the way we all feel. For me it was one of these runs that although feeling physically tired and depleted I needed to push on an emotional level. It all hurt but by the same token I was in heaven.

I pushed it for most of the run despite the hills and all Ups and Downs. Nothing really matter but to run. The toe joint hurt for last 3 miles but allowed me to continue.

It was an unpredictable kind of run. In my mind I had mapped the course I had the desire to run and I did it. It was almost like a secret desire and had to go along with it.

My first 12 miles in a long ...long time! -:) Definitely a Long Run for me today. As for Frankie and I a lesson has been now learnt. Always follow me Frankie otherwise you will loose me on the way!!!!
