Notes

Running under the Arch of Autumn Leaves and listening to the sound of the little burns (rivers) whilst at the same time reaching for the light of the sun is the most beautiful experience which cannot be compared to any other. When out of the trees and looking up in the sky on the hills then you realise how precious life is as it is nothing more and nothing less. I like this route. I had some memorable experience when I did run this course back a couple or three months ago. It is funny at the point I run it the other way around but on the same spot today I reached for the sky and for God. Exactly at the same spot without making it happen through memory or through the mind. Just happened again just as a confirmation of the message. I felt stunned. As for my run now. I run conservatively for first 3 miles (maybe 9 to 9:40 per mile). I gradually increased speed as going up hills because I felt good and strong but still holding back. At half point of the entire course I just went for it. Up and Down hills it did not make any difference I just Let the Body Go and Enjoy. My last mille was 8 min exactly per mile if not 7:55 to be accurate. Today I realised that my body holds strong for my training to the marathon...I need to run in familiar surroundings to get this feeling. Just in the same landscape and then I know what my body is capable off. Beautiful run indeed. My last 400 metres were unbelievable. I could not stop in the end as I gave it All. What a beautiful day. At least I made the most of this beautiful weather weekend.
