Notes

Today I had my Oxygen again (Running): I was able to run and breathe. I paid extreme attention to the lower part of both legs so to detect what is going on every step of the way. I felt the right leg needy from the very beginning. It was more a feeling of being injured (tendinitis) on the outer lower side of right leg. The more I listened to it the more I could distinguish the pain of CS from that of the muscle. Blair is right by saying that the right side of lower leg has been injured. CS was there too. CS started with feeling the pressure on the inside of left leg being mild to moderate. Both legs definitely have benefited from not running as often and also not in a fast pace. But tonight a small miracle happened for me being able to run fairly comfortable all the way without experiencing severe symptoms of CS or other. The good thing is that numbness has been minimized from nearly nil to non-existent. Overall I am very happy with tonight's run. It feels so good to be able to do an 8:20 again and feeling happy cutting through the wind. I do know that one of the reasons I am able to run is that my body feels so strong in terms of muscular strength that NEEDS TO RUN even with CS. It is because I have trained my body to cope that I can run. Maybe this will get me through again. My body needs the long distance running to feel good again. So, if I can, without taking major risks, try to do is to increase distance but not speed and see what comes next. Maybe this weekend? Whether I should be running is another matter. It is very difficult to balance heart , body and mind and decide what to do for the best. I now take a aday at a time.
