Notes

Pain ...pain and more pain. First mile, second mile and all miles to follow no indifferent. The lower inside parts of both legs struggling with tightness inside, gravity and pain. At times this pain spread to outer side of the bone or muscles too. It is so hard to tell but it is consistent. For as long as this cold weather continues matters (I feel) will remain the same.

However, I got fed up as any runner would and decided on down hill and sort of flat last two miles to pick up speed. Then I found out that it was hard moving fast as almost I had or was carrying chains on both legs but the pain remained consistent ..no less no more. So, I asked myself ... so what is the difference? If pain remains the same no matter the pace then let's go a bit faster so then at least I will feel as I am running a bit. And with this in mind I picked up speed. It made feel so much better in the inside. But this 8:43 required much of effort. The things we do for running. The things I have to go through for Boston!!!!! It feels as almost 'Story of My Life' and yet no regrets about the whole commotion.

So, the snow has started falling again and they expect another phase for the worse before gets any better. The whole country is on an emergency state as they are not prepared to grit the roads (not enough salt is left). It is really frightening in other parts of the country.
