The legs had the desire to run but the physical gravity kept them grounded. Once again there was nothing there for them to work with. Such an anti-climax having all those energies and strong will to run and take off but with both legs letting me down. Somehow and amazingly I still respect what has been left and try to make it work. I guess this has been going on such a long time but still there is hope that things will get better. As long as I am putting some miles then this will be the safeguard for running the BM. Speed will have to wait at the moment.

Going back to today's run and try to focus on the positive side. Today was -2 during my run and maybe this is why my CS was not as bad as two days ago and during my previous recent runs. This is hopeful in a way as it indicated that the freezing conditions have caused me to suffer more than usual. It is since three weeks ago that temperature has been drastically dropped below 0 temperatures that I have been experiencing the worse. This weather will not last forever anyway so soon I will be finding out whether I will be given the chance to improve speed and not suffer pain. I have been now almost three exactly years with CS and have gone through all stages and phases. I know I can do it ... I just have to remain consistent with distance. In the end I WILL WIN. There is no other way as I WANT TO DO BOSTON.

The first three miles were difficult but not as painful as two days ago. I was planning to do 6 miles today but decided to extend to 8(every mile helps). I have become so comfortable with distance nowadays. I do love long distance running. I listened to my music and enjoyed the sun and the white snowy surroundings. The trees are struggling to stay green. Everything is covered by snow. It was so beautiful and breathtaking. This was the first day that I felt my fingertips warm again. The icy has almost now gone (along with Frankie) from the main roads but still very slippery on country roads. So, my choice of routes in fairly limited. Overall this was a better run.
