Notes

I did not plan to run this far today but it came naturally to me and went along with it as one does. It must have been the beautiful crisp sunny morning that did it along with the longing to gather fresh oxygen from the Galloway hills. It has been a tough fortnight lately and running makes me feel great. Although the initial plan was to do strides I did 3 X 1 min hill repeats with recovery in between. This was tough. For first 4 miles I had a tail wind and it was just fine but on the return there was a head on relentless wind to my face almost making me running on the spot. One can never underestimate running up steep hill against strong wind. My legs felt like jelly but I stood strong because I LOVE HILLS. No matter how tough things can be one thing I know is that HILLS ARE MY BEST FOREVER FRIENDS. I have much respect for them and they allow me to dance with joy. It just excites me to be able to run up and down ... the steeper the more the joy. So, overall this was another interesting run. CS was mild. I also used EFX and try to remember to use it at all my runs. Today is Thanksgiving Day for U.S.A but also for the whole world. So, Thank you GOD for allowing still to run. For this I am greatful.
