Notes

If it was not for Frankie tonight I would have not gone my run. I said . . . . 'I feel tired and heavy and dizzy' and he said 'go out there and run for us both' and there I left home in hope.

I knew from step one that it was going to be tough. My body felt as heavy as lead, the entire body felt as almost I was carrying tons of weight on me. Soon, I discovered that my legs were not pulling up lifting me up the steady up hill. Then the lower part of both legs felt heavier and heavier and at around 1.5 miles I felt like turning back home and call it a date. Somehow as I was nearing to see 'my horse' Jimmy just about on the top of the steady climb legs loosened up a bit. I thought to myself this is a mild CS and I am paying the price because of my Sun run. I did stop for seconds to say a big Hi to Jimmy and then carried on to the 2.5 mile point. I had no Garmin today due to low battery.

I felt better on 2nd half of the run but still heavy and tired. I was relieved reaching home but also had a sense of achievement and was thankful on the inside that Franc had prompted me to do this run.

It was a tough run. Thank God not all runs are like this one.
