Notes
Tough but Amazing Run. I ran the hills I cycled the day before. Tough long 2 miles to start with then rolling hills with a steep part for 150 yards 3 to the 4-mile point and then down and rolling hills with a flat 0.4 to finish at Kilnford. Franc ran with me doing his long run of 16 miles. It was good having him with me as it gave me a sense of security in the event of having to terminate my run in the middle of the wilds due to back issues. All went well in the end although I was in discomfort in the up and down steep hills. It is a great feeling once I manage to deal with the toughness of the run and felt a winner in the end. I cherished the last 400 mt knowing that I had accomplished my goal. All is Great and put my first 6 tough miles on a tough course. It will make me stronger in the end.
Swimming has made wonders for my back. Let's hope now that I will have good news and not any nasty 'surprises'. i added the extra 100 yards, in the end, to make up the 6 milers as I met my old Colleague Frank on the way and had to stop for a brief chat.
I have definitely raised the Bar this week with cross training and also tougher running effort.
THANK YOU GOOD
