Notes

5 miles in wet / heavy rain and windy weather conditions in the Ardrossan Beach at South West Cost of Scotland. Beautiful coast line stretching along forever. It was a pretty wild day in terms of weather.

Just 'Me' and the Seagulls, 100s of them flying above me and gliding in fashion effortlessly. It is so beautiful watching birds on the fly and how skilfully control the wind and adapt to it's benefits. They just hover and maybe doing 'Chi Flying' like 'Chi Running' saving their energy so to scope down to the ground uninterrupted for finding their food. Heaven on Earth it was for me while Evgenia was enjoying her skating camp with her Top Coach, Yuri Bureiko.

Today's run was a special one for me in unknown territory. But when a runner runs the entire planet becomes home when the run has meaning and purpose. I feel, I left part of my soul and heart at the Ardrossan Beach so much so that I decided that tomorrow I shall do repeated miles on the mile stretch. The Ocean did something for me today with it's wild frothy waves in the horizon.

I did some interval work on the windy beach just to make it fun and distract myself from thinking of the rain and the wind resistance. It is actually easier running faster against the wind than slower for some reason as one gets more power.
