Yaozaa. GH workout in the sun. Needed to be done though. 5 x 800 meters with 400 meter rest at or near the same time as the 800. Goal was 3:40 for the 800s. Here's the breakdown -
2 Mile warmup
Rep 1 3:51
Rep 2 3:49
Rep 3 3:36
Rep 4 3:34
Rep 5 3:33
2 Mile cooldown
Personal review - Total misgage of pace the first rep. Rep 2 surprisingly was not much better. Perhaps mentally I was not "into" it. By rep 3, I felt more "in front" of the pace though my 400 was 1:55. Rep 4 still felt slow for the first 400, but picked up for the 2nd. Rep 5 I was under (probably too much) by 5 seconds for the first 400. I definitley need more control on these, to tighten the time, in other words. I felt the time was wildly out of control given the results of my last workout. Brutal mentally and physically.
