Notes

Longer easy run. Starting to want to add some volume. Trying to make the bump up to 35 mpw a increase of about 10% from where I've been consistently sitting for about 2 months now. I think it's time for the moderate increase with a few weeks away from racing. This base will give me a great stepping stone to 45 miles per week this summer. It will probably be almost identical training with a slightly increased LR and one or two double days.

The run was fun. It was beautiful outside and I wore shorts, a t-shirt, throwaway gloves, and a string headband. The headband actually worked for me really well. The hair was damp and bouncy which is just the best. The beautiful weather helps you out the door in the morning, but b/c it was the AM I had to shit and had a really hard time finding a bathroom. I snuck into the church off davenport, which was very nice. There was a surprisingly large amount of people at the church for 10am on a Wednesday.

The speed just oozed out from me. I tried to slow down, hold myself back but I just felt so great instead slugging through the streets. Seems like volume agrees with me.
