Notes

I felt like I progressed through it pretty well, I don't know if I truly started slower or if it was just more hilly and into the wind for sure. I was pretty under control the whole time, I mean I still thought about rationalizing quitting the whole time. But I persevered and it wasn't too painful at all, the effort was most taxing aerobically and in my calves. This makes me think I was slightly slower than my true lactate threshold pace, but I'll settle for what I can get. It is really nice to feel what running decently hard feels like again. In the moment it can be hell but now I just want more and more of it. I think If I'm gonna succeed longterm I'm gonna just be comfortable getting uncomfortable like this long term once or maybe twice a week. Simple plan that will really help me long term.

"Not every workout needs to be a 'go see God' experience" Today was not, but it had a purpose and I think it helped me get better without destroying myself.
