Got up early and worked through some stomach troubles to get it done. Felt pretty good after that first mile uphill. Was pretty consistent dropping 1 second per mile, so basically even-keel/steady-eddy. Last mile was downhill which averages out with the first mile to be just sub 8 too. Feeling pretty good after I got it done. Good sign for me starting to more consistently put mileage in, in the morning. Which will be essential for me if I start to dabble in doubles after this race block.
Last .2 was strides, in a weird place with the bank, but it worked just fine.
