Fartlek on the RiverTrail's (only place not entirely covered in ice and snow) 1 minute on 1 minute off (trying to stay fairly consistent but it wasn't a focus to have a strong off. Like I said, didn't think I would make it through the workout. This didn't feel good or that and I was on a time crunch with a huge exam looming. But I made it through it and felt pretty darn good! I felt good and was more focused on running fast-ish while relaxed than really trying to run fast at all. I averaged 6:16 for my on's while going through rolling hills. It was apparent that you coudl see which repetition's were done on the hillier part of the route because they were 20 seconds slower (which is okay, same effort, good form). I felt very comfortable running at htis pace... I don't know if I can do it for 4 miles but I'm sure gonna try I can promise you that! My offs were all over the place but probably averaged out to low 8 pace, which is okay. If I wanted it to be a higher quality day I would have pushed those but I wasn't really interested in that considering I want to dish up a 3 mile tempo for Friday (maybe throw it at the end of my longrun I don't know yet).
