Ran hood to coast 08! Team's name was the Tryathletes. I was in Van 2 with Labduck (Jeb), Kerri, Mike, Paul, and Jonathan. It was fun...I was on Leg 7. This leg started at Fred Meyers in Sandy and goes northwest of there. Several turns.
This first lap was hot at first, but as the sun went down it cooled and I felt a bit better in miles 5 and 6. Terrain was rolling hills. Several of the hills were pretty sharp, but on the other hand, they weren't terribly long hills. I was surprised to see the finish, as I mistakenly thought it was 5.95 miles, not 5.65. I suffered through this one, and questioned my decision to do the relay -- why suffer? Why?
