Notes
This was a "no timing, no awards" new years day 5K at Florence -- Ben and I just ran along yakking the whole way. We talked about the book The Perfect Mile -- his recall of the details (from when I read it to him about 9 years ago) was extraordinary!
Time is estimated, but both of us were winded! Grrr. After that we had a nice lunch with H & V & M & Al at the Little Brown Hen cafe.
Also enjoyed hearing the Vienna Philharmonic's New Year's Day walzes on the drive over! But did not enjoy the near miss traffic accident on highway 126. A car shot across the road right in front of us! It was foggy -- perhaps he hadn't seen us approaching.
