Decided a few weeks ago I wanted to do a time trial before I leave for italy, considering it might be difficult to run the whole week and because I felt like workouts were going well. I figured that since I had been feeling so good lately that I would have been able to run faster than this, but I guess I learned that fresh legs are not exactly a replacement for aerobic fitness, something I neglected to think about given my recent training. It was tough to keep going as I started to fall off pace, and doing 8000 meters on the track by myself was pretty tough.
