Had a 7:50 flight with Marisa from midway this morning. Got to the gate on time, seemed like they were moving slowly and dunkin donuts was right nearby. While we stood in line for coffee 30m away the entire plane lined up, boarded, and left without us. Strutted up to the gate at 7:52 and the ticket agent was very puzzled when we told him we were ready to get on the plane, then pointed out the window to show us the plane driving away. I've missed a couple flights before in pretty dumb ways but this is definitely the dumbest!
So we got rebooked on a flight from O'hare, ubered up there, had some time to kill, and that's how I did an out and back run from Terminal 5 to the DPRT
