Notes

After the DW 5k got canceled decided I'd take a run at the 606 strava segment from W to E. Lionel ran 14:11 for the segment, I figured it'd be a bit of a long shot but I could get close. Lucked out with a great weather day, 40 deg and no wind. Treated it like a race, took a caffeine pill and wore racing flats.

Got out in a good spot, wasn't over extending and came through half at 2:39. Didn't check the watch after that. Felt relatively in control for the next mile or so but my form was a bit sloppy. Made some nice moves after 1.5 and kept the pedal down. Last stretch got moving well, and kicked really hard last .1. I clocked 14:14 (so 3" slow) for the end to end route, but I guess the segment is slightly different than that and it gave me the KOM lol. Pretty happy with the time, but really happy that my body felt pretty good doing it. I think the PT stuff in combo with the taking it slow approach is working pretty well, excited to keep building.
