rough start, shins were really hurting at start. Got to the turn at ~8:30 pace. Started the slog run back and into the hills. Mixed two strides in after the bridge and they felt easy, more comfortable than the slower pace. Fuck it, ran a "stride" pace back to the hills. Easy up then back to hard tempo. What the hell man.
