Good race. Started out leap frogging with one other girl for first female. She bolted on me after mile 1 and I was resigned to 2nd female. The hills started to come around mile 2 and I did some walking of the bigger ones. I had completely forgotten about the other female when she came back into sight around mile 3. I didn't think I could catch her so late in the race. By mile 3.1 I had started closing the gap, to my surprise. Shortly after that I caught her during a surge because I was sure we were close to the end. Sadly we weren't close to the end and I had to hold that vomit inducing pace for another .25 miles for a first place finish! Woot! My first overall female win!
