Beautiful day for a long run through the mountains with Laura. Up, up, and up we went. Seemed we'd never stop climbing. Saw some beautiful views and gorgeous forests, totally worth the big climbs. Then when it did go down hill there were some doozies, no looking up to see how far down it goes for fear of making a misstep! Once we got to around mile 7 or 8 the hills became more gentle and enjoyable. Found a nice super cold stream near the end and enjoyed cooling our legs before finishing off the last 1.5 miles.
