Why do I run: I like french fries and ice cream too much. Running allows me to indulge in both.
Also- I've made so many runner friends that motivate me to keep at it and do better- I'm pretty competitive and don't want to let them down! |
Why I started running: I started running after college to get back in shape- I wanted to lose weight and have a healthier lifestyle. Growing up not only did I not run, I hated it! But I needed something that I could easily track and do pretty much anywhere at anytime, so I downloaded a couch to 5K program. I ran my first 5K in September of 2011. By the following spring I had run a few more 5K's, a 10K, and was signed up for the Chicago Ragnar and (eek!) the Lakefront Marathon. |
