About me:
I'm awesome. That's really all that matters.
Ok, so that doesn't actually say much about me. Essentially I'm a nerdy girl in her 30s who enjoys comic books, sci-fi, movies, and running. Yes, one of those things is not like the other, but I like to keep people guessing. I tend to be a little quiet when I first get to a group but within a few minutes become the life of the party because I love meeting new people and trying new things. I live by one rule: if it sounds like fun and won't hurt anybody, then let's do it!
I have a job, but it's quite dull and doesn't define me in any way. I work to live rather than live to work and the moment I leave each day my brain moves on to more interesting things.
Anyway, I've always been a bit of an open book, so if you want to know more just ask! :D |
Why do I run:
I hated running at first because I could only focus on how awful it made me feel. But eventually I realized that running quiets my brain more effectively than anything. When I'm running I'm not stressing about life or dealing with the countless people who demand my attention. I'm just thinking about the pavement beneath my feet, the various aches in my body, and the amazing strength I feel both physically and mentally.
