Different course from last year and quite a bit easier. Some very hard trails to get through. The first 15km was OK but went a bit too fast. The second 15 wasn't bad but I came down from Flinders Peak too fast and trashed my legs a bit. I was hurting after 20km or so, so I changed from my North Face shoes to my old Nike Equalons at 30km. This helped for a bit but at 38km I switched to a walk run strategy (although I'd already been walking up the hills) Finished in one piece-sore calves, right achillies and feet, but I don't think there's any major damage.
