The first hill almost did me in-it was the one leading out of the car park! For some reason I found myself with no energy at all and really had to fight to keep running. By the time I started feeling ok, I was at the next hill and had to do it all again. After a couple of km's I was feeling better and running a bit faster but any chance of a time around the 45 min mark was gone. I'm not happy with the heart rates-i have no idea why they were so high, in particular the first 2 laps. My peak was 235 in the first km and 238 in the second-I have never hit those marks before. Might explain why I felt so drained though. I struggled a little for air early on, that might have something to do with it
