This morning set the treadmill incline to 1%. I've read a number of articles and discussions about whether a treadmill incline would better represent the "feel" of running on the ground and, to be honest, I'm not convinced that it does. Treadmill running is different enough from ground running that a mere uphill grade cannot bring them into equilibrium. Not to say that one is better or worse -- they just use different muscles and require different states of mind to complete a run. Either way, I figured I'd push a bit and see how I felt. I could tell there was a difference, but it wasn't too bad. I'll keep at it and see how it goes.
