Fantastic race today, 9:51 in no mans land and a negative split! This puts me at 19th so it appears I have punched a ticket to HSR. Really excited for that, tryna get that soph record. But yeah I came into today still fairly sore, but worked it out, put my head down and gutted this one out. It got really tough but I just kept making myself go faster. Such a great night for BHSN track and field, and even more specifically the distance crew. The times Harrison ferg Ryan Matt and Carmin put down were impressive to say the least. Things are looking really good.

Very nice job running your own race and not getting caught up in what other people are doing. I'm sure you know this, but Mest ran a 10:24. I think you guys have at least evened yourselves with him if not moved passed him, which I intend to prove at the Edgewood meet. let Mest do whatever it is that he wants to do for the first 800-1000, and then you guys just hunt him down and pass him TOGETHER in the last 600 or so. I think there's a reasonable chance that leads to a 1-2-3 finish for us, and a very bad day for him.
