Notes
7:54 avg. A bit tired @ start, but got into a groove when I found some traction about mile 4. A dog came after me on the dike - he could've had me - didn't even know he was there til he came up behind and gave a big Woof! I yelled though, and he turned back. I really was just going out for a recovery run, but once I got to the bare spots on Aitken Road, I picked it up. It hurt a bit, but as I got farther along, I felt better - even on the snow and ice. Thought my Altra's would slip more, but I don't think they are any worse than my other shoes in this powder crap. 8:38, 8:25, 8:15, 7:36, 7:38, 7:50, 7:11, 7:42. Left shoulder a little sore, and abs a bit - but not as bad as usual. Maybe my core work is helping!
