7:45 avg. Sluggish @ first. Wore Activent top, light sweat pants. Came up on Danny and Tracy Guttenberg out walking - walked w/ them from Hartsock's to Ezzie's then on my own. Then, BIG mistake: dike was horribly muddy! I had HUGE mud clomps stuck on my shoes. Then it would come flying off, almost tripping me. Once I got to Tampico Highway, I stopped and scraped the mud off on the bridge. Took sweat pants off there too. Great run after that, though. Heard Buffy barking. 8:20, 8:01, 8:01, 7:35, 7:42, 7:42, 7:32, 7:25, 7:23, 7:48.
