7:58 avg. Fairly heavy, wet snow when I started but ended by the time I hit the Bentonite Road. Reliving some 70's music as I ran out to the farm. Footing was horrible in town, but not bad in the country. Started out really slow, then picked up pace, and then slipped & slid uphill to home. On Canal Road, I thought I saw a deer in the road way down yonder - as I got closer it disappeared & at first I thought I was hallucinating. Then I realized it was a pickup truck - they'd been stopped to walk their dog. Eyes are going! 8:39, 8:28, 8:13, 7:46, 7:33, 7:34, 7:48, 7:36, 7:28, 7:50. Last .82 was 8:55 avg. - real tough footing!
