9:16 pace. 4 w/Andrew. One of the slowest runs of the year and one of the hardest. Snow, wind, snow on top of ice to run on - it was tough! And, epic! What a way to finish the year! Had to put my hand over my face after we left the tree line on Aitken Road. Tripped over drifts, slipped on washboards & curbs - limbs from bushes hitting me in the face and I didn't care. Also, somebody had a car parked half in the street w/ door wide open. I didn't see anyone around, so closed the door. Only 2 miles UNDER 8:30.
