7:48 avg. VERY cold run today! Roads pretty icy too. 7:41, 7:47, 8:01, 7:44, 7:37. Face got pretty cold going west into the wind - no facemask. Other than that, w/ the tights & extra t-shirt I was fine. At Markle's, Jeff Remus asked me if I was going today. When I said I was, he said I was nuts. Shelly Sampson asked me if I would freeze my lungs. Saw Mrs. Rusher while on the run and told her winter had indubitably struck. 2 more people: Roger Hystad and my neighbor down the street both yelled out that I was nuts. Oh, and out of the corner of my eye at Shopko, I saw something jump toward me.
