Last SOS workout before the marathon. 2 mile warm up, 10 miles at MP, then 1 mile cool down. Warm and windy! 79 degrees, 12% humidity, wind W at 20 mph. Started out feeling really smooth and easy, pace was faster than I was feeling, but HR was a bit higher also. Clicked it along until about mile 9 and started feeling it. Wanted to quit at mile 10, but kept going. Ended up walking up a couple of the steeper hills on mile 12. For sure my HRM was right and I should have run slower those first several miles. Avg pace ended up being 8:45, avg HR 166. Oh well, it was good to get the workout in.
