Notes
This is the second part of an 11 mile run. After 4 miles I ran into the house to leave my jacket, and don a reflective vest. While doing this, the darn Garmin turned off. So, when I ran back out, I had to restart the Garmin, and finish my 11 miles.
The run felt easy today. I wanted to keep a pace of 13:30. My calves started to stiffen during the last mile. I must remember to keep the lower leg and ankle loose. I have a time alert every 10 minutes. I use this alert to refocus on my running form. This helps me to keep things both loose and in line.
I'd usually do a long run on the weekend, but the granddaughters will be here for a few days. It would be difficult to run while trying to entertain them. This way I can just do quick runs on the weekend--if I can do any at all.
