Clear and cold morning to run a race...The race had tuned into a showdown between me and the Jester somehow...That spurred me on and motivated me to run out of the comfort zone...Down hill to 1st mile got us out fast with Jester ahead by 25 meters or so, 2nd mile thru the esses I gained almost all that back running the curves better than she did around the block...Had to run back up Ronald McDonald hill and a couple more rises on the way back...Finished under 7 min pace which was my goal...Good day to race...26th of 490 some finishers...Awesome...
