Race day, cool and clear, ready to run, no injuries or other problems...No excuses...Took a while to get clear of start and had to keep from weaving through other runners...Finally found clear racing after the 6th mile and buckled down trying to catch up to lost time by the half point...Went thru in 1:44 and change to be on track to go under 3:30...Held onto the pace till around 20...Back half of course was harder than advertised and lost 3 minutes to goal time...Had a really good race, qualified for Boston 2014...Great effort!

Thank ya, thank ya very much...It was a damn good day to run...Didn't bonk, just slowed down after the pounding I had taken for 20 miles...Tried like hell to keep from running over 8:30, just about made it too...Gonna work on the back half for Va Beach...Ya in or r ya out...

Looks like plans for Boston 2014 are now set in stone! But first things first, Shamrock Marathon this spring!

Thanks JP...Shamrock is the next step on the 2014 All Races Lead to Boston Tour...Not gonna look ahead, gonna take some well deserved down time and get back in the harness and start to back to work on Shamrock after I run Huntington Half as a pacer for someone running the full...We already have 3 rooms reserved for that weekend...It's gonna be a good time in VAB for the TTC...See ya out there...
