Notes

Ran with the TTC in the KSF...Idea was to get some good downhill from the top of the forest down to the pool, about 4 miles...Mission accomplished...While not completely downhill from the top, it was enough to simulate the pounding I'm gonna take at H2C...EZ down to the flower pots and back up to the top, then rock n roll down...Felt good going down, even the steepest at the top,..Cool but humid morning...

Nice run, such a great place to run! Another great option out there for double dipping the up and downs is to run to the top then down the gravel road towards Hernsaw area(?), I ran it once the downhill gravel section is about 1.5miles long.

Up Main road from Pool to top then down gravel road before reversing and going back to the start is a butt kicker of ups and downs!

It is such a good place to run and I might try the downhill double dip...Like you, I'm not in racing shape, but the miles I'm doing does have me going in the right direction for the fall...Switching up the workouts with the emphasis on the downhill aspect has been refreshing...Still on the fence about Ricky's race...Probably would be a good test run...Might see ya Saturday...

You will be ready for that first leg of Hood to Coast! It might be the toughest leg with that downhill but from watching the video it sure looks like the most exciting!! Your going to have a blast!
