I wanted to get a workout in with my spikes so I went to Noelridge to do a few miles. I didn't realize it was supposed to be so hot today so that made the workout extra difficult. The biggest problem was how bad I felt in general. I wanted to do 2 miles of tempo and then a mile or two at a faster pace. The problem is that I was barely able to finish a mile at tempo (5:45) and then I took a break and tried to run a harder mile (5:20). This completely exhausted me. Hopefully the weather had something to do with it but overall I just don't feel like I'm in very good shape.
