I actually googled Blood Rage. Looks like an intense game. It's been a long time since I've played a new Drew-approved board game. I hope the chance arises this fall at some point!

Also, I like that you nicknamed your current shoes "Superman." Is that based on the colors?

I've been naming shoes after superheroes for a year or so now. The "Superman" shoes are only blue and white but I buy a lot of blue shoes and a lot of green shoes lately since they are on sale and had to start stretching to superheroes that are mainly those colors but clearly have other colors that aren't on the shoes as well.

Everyone seems to be enjoying Blood Rage a lot lately. It has a drafting phase like 7 Wonders but then it is just a big fight. Maybe if Nutmeg and I visit sometime we can give it a try since it is a 2-3 hour game. I also don't think it is very good with only 2 players so it is not one I would recommend for just you and Rebel to try.

Please come visit! It's always an honor to host you and to have a foursome for games instead of just a duo. We're overdue for some new games too. I should be paying closer attention to your shoe names, I guess. I like that strategy. My creativity died, and now I just name them after the season I get them in. I know my current shoes are about done since they're still "spring" shoes. I'll retire them after the muddy marathon.

I guess that is a good way to know how long you have had the shoes. I also decided to look up when I started naming shoes after superheroes and apparently it was January of 2016 so that is a lot longer than the last year.
