Notes

Attempted to do a prologue workout on my own thinking it would feel pretty easy. I did a 4 mile warmup and unfortunately felt pretty tight on the very first 800. I stuck to the 2:45 pace and was surprised it was causing my so much trouble. The next couple progressively felt worse and I was really frustrated at this point. I debated just calling it a day but decided I should at least do a couple more so I got in more miles. I ended up getting in 8 at 2:40-2:45 with about a minute in between. Considering how bad I felt at the beginning I'm happy I was able to make it that far, but it is really depressing when I feel like I've done tempo runs at this pace for almost the same distance. I'm not sure what the issue was but hopefully it was just a bad day and running in the heat at lunch was part of it.
