Notes

Ran with Kevin for a mile before heading out on my own. It was his first run since the Twin Cities Marathon so he was taking it pretty easy. I felt really good on the run. I zoned out the second half and took some splits using the mile markers on the trail. I was hitting 6:15s consistently just running a normal distance run pace. This made me confident that I am running sub 6:30 pace on almost every run right now.

He just missed it. 3 hours and 25 seconds. He said he was on pace for 2:55 until about 21 miles and then he slowed down the rest of the way. He said he knew it would be close but with a couple miles to go he was pretty sure he wouldn't make it anymore. Still a good run for him.
