COMMENTS: Out (via Upper Loop) and back in perfect conditions. Legs again felt great, but the hip flexors and groin were getting tighter throughout. Decided to try some faster miles for the last 3m. I thought anything sub-6 would be productive. Starting out, it was really painful striding out and thought about bagging it. First mile was 5:33, and that was faster than I would have expected, so I carried on. Next mile was 5:23, and it seemed almost effortless (though not painful in the kitchen), and I stepped it up a little more. 5:14 for the last mile, and wasn't really straining until the last minute.
