Notes
After letting CJ sleep in until 8:30, the boys had some breakfast and we played a few games before we went out for a run/ride. Apparently they weren't really feeling it today, because despite Alex taking it out hard, they were way behind me when I turned at 2.5m. Shortly thereafter, I saw a weasel cross the trail (first time ever for that - add it to the list!) We spent some time looking around the river to see if we could spot it again, without success. Then we continued the run home. CJ was way back again, but Alex kept 40-50 yards in front of me. Three separate times, I put in a long, hard surge to catch him and then let him go again. It was like a mini-fartlek. Then we raced to the mailbox again, and he beat me by a stride. I gotta say, I like doing these with them - fun runs!
