It thunderstormed all morning but cleared up around 11:15am. So the weather was beautiful, but the humidity was oppressive. I was also running in knee-high moccasin boots and a loincloth. The increased aerodynamics of my Mohawk didn't make up for the fact that the flat-bottomed boots had no traction at all on the wet grass. I was 6 seconds slower than last year, but overall it was a lot of fun.
Note: 37 runners (35 finishers) is too many. It needs to be about 20 runners to make the logistics easier. Next year (IF we do it next year), I'll enforce the cap at 25, so hopefully on race day only about 20 will show up.
